Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Shift Supervisor in North East, MD to supervise a security team and coordinate the delivery of services for a specific shift at the client site.

The ideal candidate is 21+ with security experience and supervisory background, able to communicate effectively, prepare reports, and handle crisis situations calmly.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years verifiable experience.
• Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to prepare written reports and logs neatly.
• Read and understand operating procedures and instructions.
• Licensing requirements subject to state/local laws; may be required prior to employment.
• Driving positions require a valid driver's license with driving history criteria.
• Background check and post-offer drug/alcohol test may be required.
• Intermediate computer skills to use wireless technology at client sites.
• Ability to handle common and crisis situations calmly and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate delivery of quality services on a specific shift.
• Act as liaison between site supervisor, Account Manager/Field Operations Manager and security officers.
• Provide coaching, recognition and discipline within empowerment range.
