Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Professional Security Shift Supervisor in North East, MD. The role oversees a security team on a shift, coordinating with site management to ensure quality service and safety for the client.

The candidate will supervise officers, communicate with account management, and implement coaching and discipline as needed to maintain standards. A valid license and background checks are required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years verifiable experience.
• Must possess effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills; ability to deal with all levels professionally.
• Must be able to prepare written reports and logs.
• Must read and understand operating procedures and instructions.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• Valid Driver’s License with at least one year of driving experience and clean record.
• Must pass background check and post-offer drug/alcohol test.
• Intermediate computer skills to utilize client-site technology.
• Ability to handle crisis situations calmly and with professional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the delivery of security services on a specific shift.
• Serve as liaison between site supervisor, Account Manager/Field Operations, and officers.
• Provide coaching, recognition, and discipline within empowerment guidelines.
