Qualifications

• Texas Security License required (Alarm and Access Control).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience in fire and life safety industry as an apprentice or technician.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to read technical documents and system drawings.

Responsibilities

• Independently service, troubleshoot, repair, inspect, and maintain security systems.
• Diagnose issues and complete corrective actions promptly.
• Test system functionality to ensure codes and customer requirements.
• Perform preventive maintenance on low-voltage systems.
• Read blueprints and wiring diagrams and use tools safely.
• Document service reports and communicate status to clients and team.
