Convergint Technologies, LLC is seeking a full-time Security Technician to install, program, startup, certify, and train customers on security, fire alarm, life-safety, and building automation systems.

Qualifications

• Customer-focused and service-oriented.
• Willing to learn fire alarm and electronic security systems.
• Self-starter who works well with supervision.

Responsibilities

• Install, program, test, repair, and service security, fire alarm, life-safety, and building-automation systems with guidance as needed.
• Provide technical support and training to customers to maximise satisfaction.
• Interpret manuals, schematics, wiring diagrams, and use test instruments and hand tools.
• Operate systems to demonstrate equipment, commission new systems, and identify malfunctions.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to resolve issues and improve quality.
