Job summary

Convergint is seeking a full-time Security Technician to install, program, start-up, certify, and train on security systems across diverse projects. You will be part of a dynamic team that values growth, accountability, and customer service as we protect lives and assets.

Qualifications

• High School/GED or equivalent experience required.
• Minimum 3–5 years relevant field experience.
• Certifications in security/ access control are a plus (Software House, Lenel, Genetec, Avigilon, AMAG, Milestone or ONSSI).

Responsibilities

• Installs, programs, tests, repairs, and services security and life-safety systems.
• Reads blueprints and wiring diagrams to determine installation procedures and fixes.
• Commission new systems and provide customer training and support.
• Collaborates with Project/Operations Manager to ensure on-time delivery and quality.
• Mentor junior staff and advise on system operation improvements.
