Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an Assistant Account Manager to support the Account Manager in supervising and coordinating security operations at the assigned site in New York. The role involves training, directing Security Professionals, managing post orders, and ensuring seamless client service.

The position requires a high school diploma, 3–5 years of relevant experience, and a valid Guard License, with background and drug tests as part of employment.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum three (3)–five (5) years of professional-level experience required; security industry, law enforcement or military background preferred.
• Must possess a valid state Guard License and be able to pass a background check and drug/alcohol screen.
• Driving positions require a valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and sufficient insurance.
• Excellent customer service, communication, and teamwork abilities; ability to train and coach others.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Account Manager with coordination of all aspects of the security contract at the location.
• Supervise and direct Security Professionals; motivate, coach and train staff.
• Maintain Post Order manuals and ensure post/site cleanliness and organization.
• Participate in interviewing and onboarding new employees; provide on-the-job training.
• Manage reports, logs, and communications within the Security Department.
• Oversee sub-units (e.g., fire control, command center, loading docks) as applicable.
• Respond to incidents and communicate with relevant managers; escalate as needed.
• Address personnel issues and recommend actions in coordination with management.
• Support client relationships and assist with emergency response when required.
