Allied Universal is hiring an Operations Manager in Anchorage to lead security service delivery across client sites. You will oversee hiring, staffing, scheduling, training, payroll, and compliance while supporting employees and clients to ensure high-quality service and stability.

The role emphasizes proactive problem solving, budget awareness, and strong client relationships to maintain contract staffing levels and service excellence.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Current driver’s license if driving a company vehicle.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• Minimum of three (3) years of leadership experience in a high-volume workforce.
• Experience building and developing teams.
• Leadership skills fostering teamwork, innovation and client relations.
• Proficiency in web-based applications and Microsoft Office; familiarity with BI tools.
• Strong networking skills and commitment to safety and trust.
• Understanding of budgeting and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Manage selection and placement for security professionals and supervisors; develop career growth plans and replace underperforming staff.
• Make initial job offers and transfers, publish Open Post List, manage job openings.
• Create, modify and manage post schedules to ensure adequate coverage; maintain scheduling in WinTeam.
• Ensure staffing aligns with contract requirements and manage overtime; maintain flex staff pool.
• Monitor timekeeping, approve payroll, and resolve payroll discrepancies; handle final paychecks and related issues.
• Conduct disciplinary actions and counseling; manage separations; maintain morale and communication.
• Enforce post-specific policies; coordinate training with field staff; support smooth operations.
