Job summary

Tanium seeks a motivated undergraduate intern to join as a Summer Technical Solutions Engineer. You will work with a 1:1 mentor on real-world customer problems in security, operations, asset management, and risk management, contributing to triage and root cause analysis on live Tanium deployments.

You will support security operations including forensics, threat intelligence, and incident response, and assist with patching, compliance, and automation, while learning to upgrade Tanium platforms

Qualifications

• Undergraduate student currently enrolled in a college or university.
• GPA of 3.5 or above.
• Eligible graduation dates: December 2027 or Spring 2028.
• Authorization to work in the U.S. now and in the future.

Responsibilities

• Work with a 1:1 mentor on real-world customer problems in security, operations, asset management, and risk management.
• Contribute to triaging technical issues, engaging with customers, and conducting root cause analysis on live Tanium production implementations.
• Support security efforts including forensics, cyber threat intelligence, and incident response.
• Support operations efforts including compliance, vulnerability scanning, patching, and integrity monitoring.
• Assist with general automation and Tanium platform/module upgrades.
