Job summary

Tanium internship opportunity in Addison, TX invites an undergraduate student to join a hands-on program working with real customer deployments. You will learn to support, operate, and integrate Tanium technology while collaborating with a dedicated mentor on security, operations, asset management, and risk questions.

You will develop practical skills in technical issue resolution, root-cause analysis, and documenting best practices, with chances to test in a home lab and assist with upgrades.

Qualifications

• Current undergraduate student enrolled at a college or university.
• GPA of 3.5 or above.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Available full-time for 2027-06-07 to 2027-08-13.
• Eligible graduation date December 2027 or Spring 2028.
• Some experience with endpoints, networking, or operating systems/servers.
• IT Helpdesk experience preferred.
• Other experience working with customers is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support Tanium’s customer organization by resolving technical issues and answering questions.
• Work with a 1:1 mentor TSE on real-world customer problems in security, operations, asset management, and risk management.
• Contribute to triaging technical issues, engaging with customers, and conducting root cause analysis on live production implementations.
• Support security, operations, and general automation efforts.
• Assist customers with Tanium platform/module upgrades.
• Partner with other TSEs on assigned cases.
• Execute special projects with peer interns.
• Learn to support, operate, and integrate Tanium technology.
• Document best practices, track activity, document root causes, and complete accurate reports.
• Test the product in a home lab environment.
