Job summary

Sheppard Pratt is seeking a Security Operations professional to oversee daily security at our hospital campuses. The role involves handling emergency and non-emergency calls, monitoring CCTV and alarms, and coordinating with police, fire, and EMS to ensure patient and staff safety.

The position requires high school diploma or equivalent, exceptional customer service, and flexibility to work day, evening, night shifts, including weekends/holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Exceptional customer service skills and knowledge of emergency guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Receive emergency and non-emergency calls and record significant information.
• Monitor CCTV systems, alarms, and facility computers.
• Communicate effectively with security and safety teams to assure business continuity.
• Coordinate actions with local emergency services (Police, Fire, EMS).
• Assist dispatch of officers, vehicles, or field units as needed.
• Provide officers with information from third parties about incidents affecting safety.
• Enter data into computer systems and maintain logs of calls and activities.
