Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Knowledge of procedures for emergency situations.
• Ability to work day, afternoon, evening and overnights as needed.
• Occasional travel between SP properties when needed.
• Respond to critical incidents with little or no advance notice.

Responsibilities

• Receive emergency and non-emergency calls and record significant information.
• Monitor closed circuit television systems and alarms.
• Monitor and operate facility computers systems regularly, as assigned.
• Coordinate with security and safety teams to assure business continuity.
• Prioritize calls according to urgency and importance.
• Manage security issues or emergency situations according to policies and procedures.
• Facilitate communications between local emergency services such as Police, Fire, and EMS.
• Assist with dispatch of officers, vehicles, or other field units.
• Maintain awareness of site-specific operations manuals and post orders.
• Provide officers with information from third parties about code calls and conditions.
• Enter data in computer system and maintain logs and records.
• Maintain working knowledge of departmental standards, policies, and procedures.
