Job summary

Epic is seeking a Security Operations Technician on the Hosting team to secure Epic's SaaS infrastructure for major healthcare customers. You’ll identify security events and coordinate investigation and response across multiple teams, using critical thinking to drive long-term improvements.

You’ll stay current on threats and help implement new information security solutions while joining a campus-based team with relocation assistance to Madison, WI.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPN, app whitelisting, and DLP.
• Experience in security operations center and log analysis.
• Security certifications such as GSEC, SSCP, ECSA, or Security+ are a plus.
• Proficiency with PowerShell scripting.
• Relocation to the Madison, WI area reimbursed.
• Eligibility to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Identify security events and coordinate investigation and response across teams.
• Recommend long-term process improvements and stay ahead of emerging threats.
• Protect confidentiality, integrity, and availability of Epic Hosting.
• Follow policies and escalate when policies are not followed.
