Job summary

Epic is seeking a Security Operations Technician for Epic Hosting to safeguard our SaaS infrastructure used by major healthcare organizations. You will identify security events and coordinate investigations across teams, while proposing long-term process improvements.

Relocation to Madison, WI is required with reimbursement; the role offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities to impact security at scale through hands-on incident response, policy adherence, and ongoing threat monitoring.

Qualifications

• Experience in security operations and incident escalation.
• Familiarity with enterprise firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, DLP.
• Scripting in PowerShell is helpful.
• Eligible to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
• Willing to relocate to Madison, WI (reimbursed).

Responsibilities

• Maintain confidentiality, integrity, and availability of Epic Hosting.
• Follow policies and escalate when procedures are not followed.
• Escalate security incidents and provide relevant information.
• Meet security responsibilities defined in policies and procedures.
