Job summary

Epic Hosting is seeking a Security Operations Technician to join a SOC team securing Epic's SaaS infrastructure for major healthcare clients. You will identify security events, coordinate investigations across teams, and push for long-term process improvements while staying current on new threats.

Relocation to the Madison, WI area is reimbursed, with a campus culture designed for productivity and growth. You’ll work across shifts as needed and contribute to a resilient security posture.

Qualifications

• Experience with security operations and SOC concepts.
• Knowledge of log analysis, monitoring, and auditing.
• Certifications such as SANS/GIAC GSEC, ISC2 SSCP, EC-Council ECSA or CompTIA Security+ are a plus.
• Scripting with PowerShell is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Protect confidentiality, integrity, and availability of Epic Hosting systems.
• Escalate potential security incidents and provide relevant information to stakeholders.
• Adhere to security policies and procedures and drive improvements.
