Job summary

Epic Hosting is seeking a Security Operations Technician to join the SOC team that protects Epic's SaaS infrastructure for major healthcare clients. You will identify security events, coordinate investigations across teams, and push for long-term process improvements while staying ahead of threats.

Relocation to Madison, WI is available with assistance; Epic offers comprehensive benefits, annual raises, bonuses, and stock grants.

Qualifications

• Experience identifying security events and coordinating investigations across teams.
• Knowledge of security monitoring, auditing, and incident response processes.
• Familiarity with scripting (PowerShell) and Windows/AD security concepts.
• Experience with SIEM, MFA, and ITIL-based tooling is a plus.
• Relocation to Madison, WI area and eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Protect confidentiality, integrity, and availability of Epic Hosting services.
• Escalate potential security incidents and provide relevant information for response.
• Follow policies and procedures and escalate when policies are not followed.
