Job summary

Epic is seeking a Security Operations Technician for the Hosting team to protect the Epic Hosting SaaS infrastructure. You will identify security events, coordinate investigations across teams, and propose long-term improvements to security processes.

Relocation to the Madison, WI area is provided, with reimbursement. You’ll work to keep Epic's hosting environment confidential, integral, and available, while staying ahead of emerging threats and implementing new security solutions.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with enterprise firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and data loss prevention.
• Experience with log analysis, monitoring, and security event auditing.
• Knowledge of SIEM, MFA, and ITIL concepts and tools.
• Scripting ability in PowerShell is helpful.
• Exposure to Active Directory and access management is a plus.

• Identify security events in Epic's hosting environment and coordinate investigations and responses.
• Implement long-term process improvements and stay ahead of emerging threats.
• Contribute to the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of Epic Hosting systems.
