Job summary

Epic Hosting in Madison, WI is seeking a Security Operations Technician to join a SOC team that protects Epic's SaaS infrastructure for major healthcare clients.

You will identify security events, coordinate investigations across teams, and implement long‑term improvements while staying ahead of emerging threats.

Relocation to the Madison area is reimbursed, and Epic supports growth with comprehensive benefits and opportunities to contribute to critical security programs.

Qualifications

• Experience in security operations centers and threat monitoring.
• Familiarity with firewall, IDS/IPS, VPN, DLP and whitelisting.
• Experience with log analysis and security event escalation.
• Certifications such as GSEC, SSCP, ECSA, or Security+ are a plus.
• PowerShell scripting is helpful.
• Knowledge of AD, access management, and physical security is a plus.
• Willingness to relocate to Madison, WI and work US-based.

Responsibilities

• Protect confidentiality, integrity, and availability of Epic Hosting.
• Follow policies and escalate when policies are not followed.
• Escalate potential security incidents with relevant information.
• Meet security responsibilities defined in policies and procedures.
