Job summary

Allied Universal is looking to hire an Assistant Account Manager in Miami. This role supports the Account Manager with supervisory, training and operations for the assigned post. A week‑long onboarding program is provided to equip you with best practices and tools.

The payrate is $65K annually. The role emphasizes leadership, team direction, scheduling, and client relations in a security environment. Florida location; on-site responsibilities apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of professional-level experience in security industry, law enforcement and/or military preferred.
• Must possess a valid state Guard License, or have applied and subsequently issued; background check and drug test required.
• Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record and ability to operate a vehicle.
• Energetic, proactive, and able to manage multiple assignments with strong customer service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Assist Account Manager with coordination of all aspects of executing the security contract at the assigned location.
• Supervise, motivate, coach and train Security Professionals; evaluate work performance and make recommendations.
• Maintain Post Order manuals and training information; ensure post is maintained, cleaned, and organized.
• Conduct interviews and on-the-job training for new employees; orient to post orders and emergency responses.
• Oversee reports, logs, and pass downs; distribute communications to Security Professionals.
• Manage sub-units within Security Department (e.g., fire control room, command center).
• Respond to incidents and ensure proper reporting and timely notifications.
• Identify personnel issues and forward to Account Manager for action; may assist with investigations.
• Recommend counseling or disciplinary actions; participate under guidance.
