Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring an Assistant Account Manager in Tallahassee, FL to support the Account Manager with supervision, training, and operations at the assigned post. The role includes onboarding, coordinating security tasks, and maintaining post orders per client instructions.

The position requires 3–5 years of security experience, a valid Guard License, a clean driving record, and strong communication skills. On-site work with a management onboarding program is provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of professional-level experience in security preferred.
• Must possess a valid state Guard License, active status, background check and drug/alcohol test.
• Valid Driver's License with clean record and insurance.
• Energetic, customer-service oriented with ability to de-escalate issues.
• Professional, articulate with independent judgment.
• Ability to train and coach others and enforce policies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; able to interact at all levels.
• Available to work outside normal hours and be reachable 24/7.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all aspects of executing the security contract at the site, directing Security Professionals.
• Supervise shift supervisors and Security Professionals; motivate, coach and train.
• Maintain Post Order manuals and site documentation; keep area clean and organized.
• Conduct interviews and on-the-job training for new staff; coordinate orientation.
• Manage reports, logs, and pass downs; distribute communications to staff.
• Oversee sub-units like fire control room, command center, and loading docks.
• Respond to incidents; ensure proper reporting and timely notifications.
• Identify personnel issues and forward for disciplinary action as directed.
