Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an Assistant Account Manager in Columbus, GA to support the Account Manager with supervisory, training and operations duties at the assigned post. You will help coordinate security operations, supervise staff, maintain post orders, participate in interviews and training, and ensure client satisfaction while adhering to company policies and safety standards.

The role includes on-the-job training, and potential leadership of sub-units as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of professional-level experience in security, law enforcement, or military.
• Must hold a valid state Guard License or be eligible to obtain one, and pass background checks.
• Must have a valid driver's license with clean driving record and ability to operate a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Assist Account Manager with coordinating all aspects of executing the security contract.
• Supervise, motivate, coach and train Security Professionals; evaluate performance and assignments.
• Maintain Post Order manuals and ensure post is clean, organized and updated.
• Assist with interviews and on-the-job training of new employees at post.
• Oversee reports, logs and communications within the Security Department; coordinate with client.
• May supervise sub-units (fire control, command center, loading docks) at site.
