Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an Assistant Account Manager in Augusta, GA. You will assist the Account Manager in supervising security staff, coordinating operations, and ensuring client satisfaction across the post.

The role requires a high school diploma, 3–5 years in security, a valid Guard License, clean driving record, and strong communication skills. Onboarding includes a management course and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of professional-level experience; prior security industry, law enforcement or military background preferred.
• Valid state Guard License with background check and drug/alcohol screening.
• Valid driver's license with clean record and adequate insurance.
• Energetic, initiative-driven, customer-service oriented and deadline-conscious.
• Strong, professional written and verbal communication; independent judgment.
• Ability to train and coach others; enforce post orders and standards.
• Willingness to work outside normal hours; 24/7 emergency availability.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all aspects of executing the security contract under supervision.
• Supervise shift personnel, assign tasks and monitor performance.
• Maintain and update post orders and training materials; keep post clean and organized.
• Assist with interviewing, onboarding and on‑the‑job training of new staff.
• Oversee reports/logs and ensure timely distribution of communications.
• Manage sub-units like fire control, command center, and loading docks as applicable.
• Respond to incidents, document actions, and notify appropriate parties.
• Identify personnel issues and support appropriate disciplinary actions.
• Engage with clients to maintain positive relationships and service continuity.
• Occasionally perform security duties up to 50% of time as needed.
