Job summary

You will oversee monitoring, investigations, and threat handling while coordinating with IT and Security Engineering to mature security capabilities.

The role requires guiding a team, budgeting for security initiatives, and maintaining risk-aware operations in a regulated banking environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field and 3+ years of relevant experience
• Technical IT certifications in networking, security, systems or databases preferred
• Strong understanding of security best practices across networks, OS and data
• Experience with incident response and security operations

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the Security Operations team and align goals with IT objectives
• Develop and maintain SOC procedures, workflows, and incident response playbooks
• Oversee security monitoring, alert triage, threat detection, investigations, and operational effectiveness
• Manage cybersecurity incident response and act as escalation point for significant events
• Collaborate with Security Engineering and IT leadership to improve security maturity
• Support audits, regulatory examinations, and compliance initiatives
• Produce security metrics and reports on risk reduction and platform health
