Job summary

WesBanco Bank Inc. seeks a Security Operations leader to drive process efficiencies, threat identification, and critical incident escalation. You will coordinate with IT and Risk Management to ensure security best practices across the technology lifecycle.

You will supervise the Security Operations team, develop incident response playbooks, and manage budgeting, vendor relations, and regulatory compliance to strengthen the organization\'s security maturity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field and 3+ years of related experience.
• Experience in leading security operations and incident response programs.
• Familiarity with ITIL/COBIT/NIST frameworks is a plus.
• Ability to respond to emergencies and work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Leads, mentors, and develops the Security Operations team aligned with IT objectives.
• Develops and maintains security procedures, playbooks, and incident response plans.
• Oversees monitoring, triage, threat detection, investigations and operational effectiveness.
• Manages cybersecurity incident response and escalation for significant events.
• Partners with leadership to improve security platforms, integrations, and maturity.
