WesBanco Bank Inc. seeks a motivated Security Operations leader to guide the Security Operations team, drive process improvements, and ensure best-practice risk management across IT and Risk Management.

The role focuses on threat detection, incident response, and continuous improvement. Qualified candidates will mentor staff, develop playbooks, and coordinate budgeting, vendor relations, and security roadmaps, aligning with industry frameworks and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of three years of related experience and/or training.
• Technical certifications in IT networking, security, systems (Cisco, Microsoft, CompTIA, etc.) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads, mentors, and develops the Security Operations team.
• Develops and maintains security procedures, workflows, and incident response playbooks.
• Oversees security monitoring, threat detection, and investigations; manages incident response.
• Coordinates budgeting, licensing, and vendor relationships for security operations.
• Ensures security practices align with regulatory requirements and risk tolerance.
• Reports on metrics related to security operations effectiveness and risk reduction.
