Job summary

WesBanco Bank Inc. seeks an experienced Security Operations leader to drive process improvements and coordinate with Information Technology and Risk Management to ensure security best practices through the technology service lifecycle.

You will supervise staff, develop procedures, and manage incident response, budgeting, and vendor relationships while aligning with regulatory requirements and risk tolerance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or other computer-related field and a minimum of three years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Technical certifications in information technology related to networking, security, systems, databases preferred (Cisco, Microsoft, Comptia, Citrix, Oracle, (ISC)2).
• Hands-on experience with security event response procedures and incident handling.

Responsibilities

• Leads, mentors, and develops the Security Operations team.
• Develops and maintains Security Operations procedures, workflows, and incident response playbooks.
• Oversees security monitoring, alert triage, threat detection, investigations, and operational effectiveness.
