Job summary

Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services provider in North America, seeks an Assistant Account Manager in Maryland. The role supports the Account Manager with supervision, training and operations at the assigned post, ensuring adherence to post orders and client instructions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3–5 years of professional-level experience in security or related field preferred.
• Valid state Guard License and successful background check required.
• Valid Driver's License with clean driving record required.
• Strong customer service orientation and professional communication skills required.
• Willingness to work outside normal shift schedule as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist Account Manager with supervision and operations at the assigned post.
• Supervise shift supervisors or security professionals; provide coaching and training as needed.
• Maintain Post Order manuals, training materials, and site documentation.
• Help with interviewing and onboarding of new employees; coordinate post orientation.
• Oversee reports, logs, and communications for the Security Department.
• Manage sub-units like fire control room and loading docks; arrange extra security coverage as needed.
• Respond to incidents; ensure proper reporting and timely notification of stakeholders.
• Identify personnel issues and support corrective actions under guidance of management.
• Support client relations through regular communication with client and site contacts.
