Job summary

NANA Management Services is seeking a Security Captain to lead security operations across client locations, including remote environments where safety is paramount. You will supervise security personnel, ensure policy compliance, and maintain strong client relationships.

Responsibilities include coordinating staffing, enforcing post orders and SOPs, conducting investigations, and supporting emergency response with ICS knowledge.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; post-secondary education preferred.
• A minimum of ten years in security, law enforcement, or military service.
• Five years of supervisory/leadership experience in related field.
• Valid Alaska driver license with clean record.
• Ability to obtain Alaska Guard License and Armed Guard License.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and security software.

Responsibilities

• Assign personnel to posts and ensure staffing coverage.
• Supervise daily security operations and ensure policy compliance.
• Enforce security policies, post orders, and SOPs.
• Develop understanding of staffing needs and document processes.
• Translate requirements into functional processes with docs.
• Prepare work schedules and review leave requests.
• Maintain communication with clients to improve service delivery.
• Review incident reports and take corrective actions.
• Maintain administrative records and documentation.
• Conduct security-related investigations as assigned.
• Coordinate with law enforcement and emergency responders.
• Develop and update post orders and security docs.
• Participate in on-call rotation; respond to after-hours issues.
• Provide transportation and emergency medical response as trained.
• Support additional operational tasks as assigned.
