Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver in Mesa, AZ. You will conduct patrols, monitor access, and respond to incidents while delivering superior customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, and experience with access control and alarm systems is preferred. This is a night schedule with steady, predictable hours and opportunities for career growth within a leading security company.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading technology location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points and alarm activity, and maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $21.05 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 10:00 PM - 06:30 AM
• Tue 10:00 PM - 06:30 AM
• Fri 10:00 PM - 06:30 AM
• Sat 10:00 PM - 06:30 AM
• Sun 10:00 PM - 06:30 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and/or contractors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, offices, common areas, parking facilities, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, unauthorized access, and/or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, assisting with credential verification and directing guests to appropriate locations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting observations as required.
• Prepare accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation while communicating relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
