Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer - Operations Patrol Driver in Chandler, AZ. You will serve clients, patrol facilities, and maintain a visible presence to deter incidents while delivering exceptional customer service.

This driving role requires a valid driver's license and a commitment to safety and integrity in a technology environment. The position is full-time with an hourly pay rate of $24.10.

Qualifications

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations calmly following site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, exterior grounds, perimeter, parking areas and access points.
• Monitor and report unusual conditions, equipment concerns, and policy violations to site personnel and leadership.
• Assist with access control activities, visitor screening, credential verification, and documentation of daily activities and incidents.

Job Schedule:

• Mon 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Thur 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Fri 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Sat 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Sun 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology infrastructure location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, exterior grounds, perimeter, parking areas, and access points to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor and report unusual conditions, equipment concerns, and policy violations to appropriate site personnel and Allied Universal leadership.
• Assist with access control activities, visitor screening, credential verification, and documentation of daily activities and incidents.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
