Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an unarmed Security Officer in Phoenix, AZ to perform foot, driving, and site patrols at a commercial property. You will deter incidents, assist tenants and visitors, and uphold a welcoming environment.

The role requires at least 6 months of security experience and a valid driver’s license. Proficiency with computers or tablets is preferred, with licensing and background checks as part of employment. This is a full-time daytime position with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by following security procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of interiors, exteriors, parking areas, access points, and perimeter zones to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, report unusual conditions, and document incidents per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies calmly and professionally, seeking assistance when needed.
• Maintain accurate logs and coordinate with property management and leadership.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol, Foot Patrol & Driving Patrol in Phoenix, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors. This driving post requires a valid driver's license. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, observe and report unusual conditions, and document security-related incidents according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, requesting additional assistance when appropriate.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and communication with property management and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Possess a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Possess a state, county, or city-issued security-related license, preferred.
• Hold CPR and/or First Aid certification, preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
