Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer - Unarmed Operations in Mesa, AZ to safeguard clients at a technology data center. You will monitor, patrol, manage access control, respond to alarms, and deliver exceptional customer service in a high-availability environment.

This full-time role requires a valid driver’s license, high school diploma or equivalent, and a preference for CPR/First Aid certification and a guard card.

Qualificações

• Must possess a valid driver’s license.

• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Background investigation and drug screen required by Allied Universal.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state/local laws.

Responsabilidades

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors at a technology data center; carry out site procedures, access control, and emergency response as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including perimeter, parking, entry points, and critical infrastructure spaces.
• Monitor access points and security systems, verify visitor/contractor authorization, and report unauthorized access or unusual activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly; document observations and communicate with site contacts and responders.
• Complete required reports, maintain accurate activity logs, and support a professional, customer-focused environment for a high-availability technology location.

Job Description

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Operations in Mesa, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a dynamic technology data center location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to alarms, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. This driving position offers the opportunity to work with an agile, reliable, and innovative team that puts people first, collaborates closely, and acts with integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors at a technology data center by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control requirements, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including the business perimeter, parking areas, entry points, and critical infrastructure spaces.
• Monitor access points and security-related systems, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Complete required reports, maintain accurate activity logs, and support a professional, customer-focused environment for a high-availability technology location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
