Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors at a technology data center by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the data center campus, building interiors, perimeter, access points, and parking areas to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access control points, visitor activity, and alarm-related systems in accordance with site procedures; verify credentials and maintain accurate access-related documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and emergency responders.
• Complete detailed daily activity reports, incident reports, and shift handoffs while maintaining confidentiality of sensitive operational information.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver in Mesa, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an unarmed officer at a technology data center location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support security-related operations, and deliver professional customer service. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. What You’ll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
