Allied Universal is seeking an Security Officer - Campus Protection in Tempe, AZ. As part of a finance-focused site, you will patrol the facility, deter incidents, and provide excellent customer service to employees and visitors.

You will monitor access, respond to alarms, and complete detailed incident reports. The role requires 1 year of security experience, a high school diploma, and a background check. CPR is preferred and a driver’s license may be needed for driving roles.

As a Security Officer - Campus Protectionin Tempe, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, clear communication, and timely reporting while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and integrity-driven culture.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, surrounding grounds, access points, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders when needed.
• Complete detailed activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
