Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of security-related experience.

• 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check as required by law.
• Drug screen where permitted by law.

Job Description

Security Officer - Unarmed Gate Roverin Wittmann, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Driving Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, monitor access points, and help to deter security-related incidents. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly with site personnel and visitors, and respond to evolving needs with professionalism. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, employees, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.


• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.


• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout research, technology, office, laboratory, parking, and perimeter areas, with working environments and conditions varying by location.


• Monitor access points and visitor activity; verify credentials and follow site-specific entry, escort, and reporting procedures.


• Document patrol observations, incidents, and unusual activity, and promptly communicate security-related concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.


• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.


• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.


• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.


• Access control and badge experience preferred.


• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.


• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.


• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.


• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
