Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Patrol in Evansville, IN to protect clients across manufacturing and industrial locations. You will perform unarmed patrols, monitor access, and deliver friendly customer service while upholding site policies and safety procedures.

As a full-time role, you will work day-time shifts with a schedule that includes evenings and weekends. A high school diploma and background check are required, with driving license needed only for driving positions.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required under federal, state and local laws.
• Background histories may be considered per applicable laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• Valid driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, loading docks and perimeter; report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and maintain visitor and vehicle entry records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; notify site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
• Complete accurate patrol, incident, access activity logs and related documentation.

As a Security Officer Patrol in Evansville, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, loading docks, and the facility perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed, and maintain visitor, contractor, and vehicle entry records in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders when needed.
• Complete accurate reports, logs, and other required documentation related to patrols, incidents, access activity, and security-related observations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
