Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol in Plainfield, IN. You will patrol and deter incidents while providing exceptional customer service to employees and visitors.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, CPR certification preferred, and the ability to pass background checks and drug screening as required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, and perimeters.
• Monitor and document movement of personnel, visitors, vehicles, and deliveries per site requirements.
• Report hazards, suspicious activity, or policy violations to site contacts and leadership.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol in Plainfield, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a secure environment for employees, visitors, and operations. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while reflecting Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture through teamwork and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate within a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, access points, and the surrounding perimeter.
• Monitor and document the movement of personnel, visitors, vehicles, and deliveries in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Report observed hazards, suspicious activity, property concerns, and policy violations to the appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
