Allied Universal in Evansville, IN is hiring a Security Officer Patrol Operations to safeguard clients across manufacturing and industrial sites. This unarmed role requires monitoring areas, deterring incidents, and maintaining a visible security presence.

You will support access control, respond to alarms, and perform patrols of production floors, warehouses, docks, and perimeter, while delivering professional customer service and clear communications with employees and visitors.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and document security-related observations and daily activities.
• Support a professional workplace environment by reporting hazards, equipment concerns, and policy violations to site leadership or Allied Universal supervision.

What You'll Do:

• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and communicating with appropriate contacts.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and document security-related observations, incidents, and/or daily activities.
• Support a professional workplace environment by reporting hazards, equipment concerns, and policy violations to site leadership or Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
