Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and/or guests while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and access-screening protocols.
• Screen individuals, bags, and personal items using designated screening methods and equipment in accordance with campus procedures.
• Verify identification, credentials, and visitor access authorization; document and report access concerns or prohibited items according to site-specific policy.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and coordinate with campus personnel and/or emergency responders.
• Maintain a professional presence at assigned entry points to deter unauthorized access and support an orderly environment.

You will use screening equipment, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service through clear communication. Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and/or guests while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and access-screening protocols.


• Screen individuals, bags, and/or personal items using designated screening methods and equipment in accordance with established campus procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.


• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.


• Have X‑Ray screening experience, preferred.


• Be able to lift more than 20 pounds, preferred.


• Have customer service experience, preferred.


• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.


• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.


• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.


• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
