As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and contribute to Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture through teamwork and integrity.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat: 09:00 PM - 05:00 AM
• Sun: 09:00 PM - 05:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, offices, parking areas, loading docks, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, access concerns, and facility conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, verify credentials as directed, and maintain accurate security-related logs and reports.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting actions taken.
• Support a professional environment by communicating clearly with site contacts and following Allied Universal and client site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 1+ years of law enforcement experience, 2+ years of security-related supervisor/manager experience, or 3+ years of security-related experience.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Have access control/badge experience preferred.
• Have customer service experience preferred.
• Have X-ray screening experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
