Qualifications

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific security procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, offices, parking areas, loading docks, and perimeter to identify and report hazards.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials; report unauthorized entry attempts.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations with calm, problem-solving approach.
• Prepare accurate activity and incident reports and maintain professional communication with site representatives.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a technology, media, and telecommunications location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, office areas, parking areas, loading docks, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and report unauthorized entry attempts or access-control issues in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Prepare accurate activity reports, incident reports, and patrol logs while maintaining professional communication with site representatives and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least two years of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
