Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Guest Screening in Vance, AL. This role offers fixed anchor shifts with the option to pick up extra shifts to increase earnings.

The pay rate is $16.50 per hour, with a six-month anchor period and opportunities to gain experience across multiple sites. Responsibilities include screening employees, visitors, and contractors, managing access control, and responding to incidents with professional conduct.

Formación

• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Subject to background check, drug screen, and licensing where required by law.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsabilidades

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at an automotive manufacturing or distribution location by carrying out site-specific screening procedures.
• Screen individuals, vehicles, packages, and materials entering or leaving the location in accordance with access control procedures.
• Verify identification, visitor credentials, delivery documentation, and authorization records; direct authorized persons to entry points or contacts.
• Respond to screening alerts and incidents in a calm, professional manner; document observations per site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, screening areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized access.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Guest Screening in Vance, AL, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $16.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at an automotive manufacturing or distribution location by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Screen individuals, vehicles, packages, and materials entering or leaving the location in accordance with established access control and security-related procedures.
• Verify identification, visitor credentials, delivery documentation, and authorization records; direct authorized persons to appropriate entry points or contacts.
• Respond to screening alerts, prohibited-item concerns, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; document and report observations according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned entry points, screening areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized access and report security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
