As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Badge Operations in Woodstock, AL, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $16.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Thur 09:00 PM - 05:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures, access‑control policies, and emergency response activities at an automotive manufacturing or corporate location.
• Monitor and control access points by verifying credentials, authorizing entry in accordance with site procedures, issuing visitor passes, and maintaining accurate visitor and contractor records.
• Respond to access‑control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, promptly communicating observations through established reporting channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, parking areas, vehicle gates, production‑adjacent areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Assist with traffic flow and delivery access as assigned, directing vehicles and visitors to appropriate entry points while maintaining professional interactions and following site‑specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
