Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out access-control procedures and site policies.
• Monitor entry and exit points at an automotive location, verify authorization and credentials, and maintain visitor/contractor/vehicle access records.
• Control access to restricted areas, direct guests to check-in locations, and communicate access concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, following reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.

• Sun 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM

How This Role Works

• Fixed‑Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out access‑control procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor entry and exit points at an automotive location, verify authorization and credentials, and maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and vehicle access records.
• Control access to restricted areas, direct guests to appropriate check‑in locations, and communicate access concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, business operations, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements

• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
