Job summary

Allied Universal in Vance, AL is seeking a Part-Time Unarmed Patrol Officer to support an automotive manufacturing location. You will perform routine patrols, monitor access, and deliver courteous service while following site policies.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at an automotive manufacturing or dealership location by carrying out security procedures and site policies.
• Conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, and deter unauthorized activity with a visible security presence.
• Verify credentials and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents calmly, prepare accurate incident reports, and notify appropriate personnel when needed.
• Observe and report conditions such as entry issues, property damage, or hazards to management.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at an automotive manufacturing or dealership location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, parking areas, vehicle storage areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as required, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and prepare accurate incident reports.
• Observe and report conditions such as unauthorized entry, property damage, vehicle-related concerns, and facility hazards to site management and/or Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfortable use of a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
