As an Unarmed Security Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. This primarily driving post offers opportunities to support site operations, respond to concerns, and represent Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture with integrity and teamwork.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $19.25 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sat: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sun: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout manufacturing and industrial facilities, including building exteriors, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access to assigned areas, verify credentials as directed, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity.
• Identify and report unusual conditions, equipment concerns, and potential hazards to site leadership and appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• This is a primarily driving post.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 19 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver´s license will be required for driving positions only.
