Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions.
• Ability to lift 20+ pounds preferred.

• Minimum age 19 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and contractors by carrying out security procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing and industrial buildings, production areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access by verifying credentials, documenting visitor/contractor entry, and reporting unusual conditions.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; notify appropriate personnel and complete reports.
• Observe and report hazards, damaged property, or policy violations to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

What You’ll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing and industrial buildings, production areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, documenting visitor and contractor entry, and reporting unusual conditions according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and complete required reports.
• Observe and report potential hazards, damaged property, or policy violations to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 19 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
