Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and drivers while carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations calmly and per site procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of manufacturing and industrial sites, parking areas, loading docks, and perimeter zones.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, and maintain logs and incident reports.
• Observe facility operations for security-related concerns and deter unauthorized activity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or drivers while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing and industrial buildings, parking areas, loading docks, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
• Observe facility operations for security-related concerns, help to deter unauthorized activity, and communicate observations to appropriate site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 19 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
