Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Patrol Driver - Afternoons in Waterloo, IA. You will perform unarmed patrols, monitor access, assist employees and visitors, and respond to incidents on a manufacturing/industrial site, ensuring safety and security in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• A valid driver's license is required.

• Be at least 19 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and per site procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of manufacturing and industrial facilities and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access, verify credentials, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity per site requirements.
• Report hazards and security concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver - Afternoons in Waterloo, IA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols, operate a vehicle as part of assigned duties, remain visible to help deter incidents, and report security-related concerns. You will deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team that acts with integrity.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $19.25 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Tue: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Wed: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Thur: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sun: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and escalation protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing and industrial facilities, production areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as required, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site requirements.
• Report hazards, unusual conditions, equipment concerns, and security-related incidents to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 19 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
