Job summary

Allied Universal in Saint Peters, MO, is seeking a full-time security officer to protect people and property at a manufacturing and industrial site. You will perform unarmed patrols, monitor access, and respond to incidents using site procedures.

This role emphasizes customer service, reliable shift availability (Thu–Sun 2:00 PM–12:00 AM), and opportunities for training, benefits, and a supportive team.

Qualifications

• A valid driver's license required by policy.
• 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing may be required by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and escalation protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel in accordance with site requirements.
• Document patrols, observations, incidents, and security-related concerns accurately, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

• Fri: 02:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Sat: 02:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Sun: 02:00 PM - 12:00 AM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
