Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer in Dallas, TX to deliver customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors while patrolling and safeguarding the facility. You will monitor access points, respond to incidents, and document activities to support safe operations.

Minimum two years of security experience, valid driver’s license, HS diploma, and ability to pass background checks and drug screening are required; state/local licensing may be needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• A security license is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check as a condition of employment.
• Drug screen as a condition of employment.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• Driver’s license required only for driving positions.

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by following site security procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of manufacturing areas, offices, parking areas, and facility perimeter.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor, contractor, and delivery credentials.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner.
• Document patrols, incidents, and security observations through reports and communications.

Job Schedule:

• Wed: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Thur: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of manufacturing areas, offices, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor, contractor, and delivery credentials in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to established procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, and other security-related observations through accurate reports and shift communications.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least two years of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
